This campaign is designed to spread a powerful and urgent message in support of the pro-choice movement. It aims to raise awareness about the risks and consequences of abortion bans currently affecting women across the country. By presenting key points backed by relevant data, the campaign seeks to educate and inform the public while amplifying the voices of those fighting for reproductive rights.
The visual identity uses a bold color scheme of black, white, and yellow to create high contrast and grab attention. Black and white provide a strong, clear foundation, while yellow adds a sense of urgency, energy, and hope. These colors work together to communicate the seriousness of the issue while maintaining visibility and impact.
To reinforce the grassroots and personal nature of the movement, marker sketches are incorporated throughout the designs. These sketches mimic handmade protest signs commonly seen at rallies, adding a raw and authentic energy that connects directly to the lived experiences of activists.
In addition to these graphic elements, the campaign features striking photographs from pro-choice rallies. These images capture the powerful emotions (anger, fear, determination) that drive women and allies in their fight for bodily autonomy. Together, the combination of data, visuals, and hand-drawn elements creates a compelling narrative that not only informs but also inspires action and solidarity.
