Winnie The Pooh

For this project, I was tasked with reimagining the cover of any book of my choice, bringing a fresh, personal perspective to a well-known story. I chose to reinterpret Winnie the Pooh with a more grounded and natural aesthetic, moving away from the bright, cartoonish style traditionally associated with the series.

I illustrated original renditions of Pooh, Piglet, Rabbit, and Tigger, capturing them in a calm, contemplative moment lounging together beneath a large tree. The composition emphasizes a sense of peaceful friendship and connection to nature, with a warm, earthy color palette and soft, hand-drawn textures.

This piece allowed me to explore character design, storytelling through environment, and the challenge of honoring a beloved classic while making it distinctly my own. The result is a cover that feels nostalgic yet fresh, quietly magical in a more organic, painterly way.
