Smuckers Intership

During my internship at The J.M. Smucker Co., I collaborated with the marketing intern to create custom intern merchandise that captured a meaningful moment in the company’s history. That summer, Smucker’s welcomed Hostess Brands into its portfolio, and we wanted to reflect that milestone in a fun, creative way.

We designed retro-inspired mousepads featuring a custom illustration and the slogan “Better Together.” The illustration celebrated the expanding Smucker’s family by turning iconic products into playful cartoon characters:
– Smucker’s as a jar of jelly
– Jif as a peanut butter jar
– Milk-Bone as a smiling bone treat
– Café Bustelo as a bold coffee cup
– Hostess as a classic cupcake

Each character was hand-drawn in a colorful, nostalgic style that matched the cheerful, collaborative spirit of the internship experience. This project not only allowed me to flex my illustration and design skills, but also gave me a chance to contribute to intern culture and commemorate a landmark moment for the company in a memorable, visual way.
